We have a long tradition of rearing turkeys, both for sale as day olds and month old growers and as oven ready turkeys which we sell to local retailers and direct from the farm at Christmas.

We have three different types of turkeys:

White: these are still the most popular. We have three strains producing birds ranging from 10lbs to 30lbs at Christmas.

Bronze: these have a slightly more gamey taste and well suited for free range conditions. Our chicks are supplied by Kellys.

Norfolk Black: these traditional turkeys have become increasingly popular over the last two or three years. They are attractive looking with jet black feathers and tastes similar to a bronze.

All our turkeys are sold as hatched, which means they are not sexed.

Turkey chicks are at their most vulnerable for the first month, when they have to be kept under heat.  We therefore recommend that you buy them once they are off heat at a month old.  From then on, they are easier to manage and with good care and feeding will flourish in time for Christmas.  For more details about how to keep your turkeys please look at www.kelly-turkeys.com/Pages/stockmanagement.html

We have month old turkeys available for collection in August and September each year.  Since supply is limited, please remember to order early!
